Connecting to Avid Content Core

Avid Content Core requires both end-users and system administrators to connect to the user interface through Google Chrome. Avid does not support connecting to Avid Content Core through any other Chromium-based browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, or others.

Avid Content Core requires a minimum screen resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. If the size of your browser window is smaller than 1280 x 1024, some UI elements might not be displayed.

Avid does not support connecting to Avid Content Core through either a mobile web browser (installed on a mobile device) or “portable” versions of Chrome in which the browser is not fully installed on your local workstation.

Avid does not test Avid Content Core with any Chrome extensions. Some extensions can introduce a performance impact, potentially affecting playback or other areas of the UI.

n Features included in some graphics drivers might affect the playback of assets. If you experience playback issues, you might try lowering your video resolution, increasing the display refresh rate, or both.

Depending on your organization's requirements, you might be required to enter a simple user and password, or you might be prompted to enter additional information into a 2-factor authentication system or other security verification system.
